“I was diagnosed with UC in college. My symptoms were unbearable, and I struggled for years with medications that only masked the disease. At one point, doctors told me my only option was to remove my colon. But when I tried an alternative treatment, my symptoms disappeared. That was over 14 years ago.
While my story is one of success, I know too many others who are still suffering. That’s why we founded UC Well—not just to investigate the treatment that worked for me, but to push for research into a range of alternative approaches that could uncover the true cause—and cure—of UC.”
